white out

Fans are snowed in across the country or at least complaining that it is too cold to go fishing. Other fans are talking about ice fishing. A couple of Mogan Maniacs have gone as far as to throw down the challenge to get the Mogan Man out on a frozen lake. Really? The Florida chapter is having a harder time adjusting to the dropping temperatures. While we put another log on the fire, check out the news from the Dirty Dog Ranch this week.

The weather reports indicate another crappy weekend in the works. It looks like a perfect time to get your fix of Addictive Fishing. This weekend we have the 2010 Season Finale on TV. This Friday, catch AF on SunSports @ 5:30pm. Saturday, tune to Sportsman Channel @ 8:30pm ET & PT. Sunday, back on SunSports @ 6:30pm. This is the show shot in Orlando in front of a "live" audience. If that is not enough, check out Addictive Fishing on YouTube. Full length episodes are now available on the web! Classic episodes are at your fingertips. Get caught up on all the shows you missed from past seasons and forget about what the weather is doing outside.

Everybody is in the holiday spirits as Christmas Day is quickly approaching. This week, Barnacle Bill was sited mulling around the malls. Rumors are even floating around that he was caught on tape sharing Santa’s shopping secrets at a local Dick’s Sporting Goods. Keep your eyes opened for the audio to be leaked.

Do you have a unique fishing theme Christmas display? We have heard stories of people using a kayak in place of a Christmas tree or stringing Christmas lights on their boat. If you have pictures of your special decorating skills, we would love to see them. Post your pictures up on the FaceBook fan page or on our forum.

More roosters than you can shake a Wright & McGill at! As entertaining as the thought of Chris Russell chasing chickens around the streets of Mexico may be, that’s not the case. The Marketing Director for Wright & McGill and Lazer Sharp has been fishing off the coast this week and catching more roosterfish than he has ever seen. It sure looks warm down there. One word comes to mind; migration! Thanks for sending us this Mogan of the Week, Chris!

Hoping for a stocking full of coal,
BillBird
