buck up

Having a seasonal lull between fishing shows, the Mogan Man has taken the opportunity to spend some of his free time stalking a different type of game. Capt. Blair emerged from the backwoods of Georgia this week to show off the 8-point buck he bagged. Now he's on his way to Morehead City, NC to christen a brand new Dick's Sporting Goods this weekend.

The Mogan Man is heading to North Carolina! AF has a strong fan base up there and we are inviting them all to come out to the grand opening of the new Dick's Sporting Goods at Crystal Coast Plaza. Come meet Capt. Blair Wiggins live and in person this Sunday 11:30 am – 4:30 pm. Capt. Blair will be signing autographs and handing out FREE stuff. Pick up valuable money saving coupons to use on your DSG purchase. The new W&M "Flats Blue" rods are just $89 with a coupon. See ya there!

Humminbird announced it has extended the Down Imaging line to include the 1158c, 958c and 858c DI Combo models. These incredibly powerful sonar units take the Side Imaging technology and point it straight down for a beautifully detailed image of the bottom. Combined with other features such as built-in mapping, precision GPS and Ethernet capabilities this makes these units very versatile. Check out the new Humminbird DI Combo models. You can't get a better look at the bottom without getting wet!

It's madness, I tell ya! Pick up the November issue of Coastal Angler Magazine for a Buy 2 Get 1 Free MirrOlure coupon from Dick's Sporting Goods. MirrOlure has been a long-time favorite of the Mogan Man with its broad line of baits that cover the full spectrum. From the surface walkers of the TopDog series and the MirrOdine and MirrOminnow in the Luminescence series, to the classic "go to" baits like the Catch 2000 or the 52MR. MirrOlures are designed and tested locally but have been proven across the globe. Turn on the bite!

Fishing in a sea of pins, you're bound to get stuck sooner or later. Sometimes it takes a tenacious angler like Sully Zagerman to fill the stomachs of a hundred pinfish before they let the hook find its mark. Sully's shrimp were getting' ate up by the pinfish. He tried switching it up by using the pinfish for bait but it was ultimately a live shrimp that landed his beautiful slot-size redfish. It's that kind of determination that makes Sully our Mogan of the Week.

Hey, Blair, gotta "buck" I can borrow?
