It has been another slow summer week but the crew is still hard at work doing what they do best. New stores have opened, new fly rods were delivered and one of our sponsors continues to weave the networking web on the web. We are upon the last great weekend before heading into the long stretch before the holidays. Get out there and fish!
The grand opening at Dick's Sporting Goods in Clearwater, FL was a huge success! The first store to pop up in Pinellas County was packed with shoppers and AF fans of all ages, shapes and sizes. The Mogan Man signed lots of posters, pictures and even Mickey’s lucky fishing shirt. We got to meet a lot of new fans since we were reaching into a new area. A huge "Thank you!" to everyone that came out to see us. We can’t wait to see you all again.

News has just come in about the new Flats Blue Fly Rods. The word is in that shipments of the hot new fly rods were just delivered to Bass Pro Shops in Ft. Myers, Miami, Islamorada, Dania and Orlando. The new buggy whips come in 4 sizes (7wt, 8wt, 9wt & 10wt). Other stores plan to carry them but they're currently ramping up for hunting season. Stay tuned for more updates.
We pulled a Mogan of the Week straight out of the Mogan Lounge this week. It's a true Mogan reef donkey caught during an overnight trip offshore. Just seeing the picture made us reach for the bottle of ibuprofen! James Parker, thank you for sharing your picture of the 107-pound amberjack in the Lounge!
