WHERE DID OCTOBER GO??

What a month! The East Cape had two close calls with Huricaines, fishing and diving were both excellent, I helped with the delivery of a friends yacht from Huntington Bch. to San Jose del Cabo, had an Accurate attack from the Nilsen's with Ben Secrest, buried one of my dearest friends in the Sea of Cortez and started construction on a trailer for a boat that is not trailerable.
It is the middle of November and I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering where did October go and am wishing the month could have been a couple of weeks longer. November brings cooler windy weather to the East Cape and our "season" is almost over.

Ken Dunlop took some great video while on a Vista Sea Sport scuba tour. He has posted it on You Tube. It can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8aVdiuSWi4

Louisiana angler Todd Winkler is 6 feet, 4 inches tall, and this dorado he caught Sunday comes up to his nose. The bull struck a black-and-purple 3.5 Zuker lure and took about 20 minutes to land

Here is a shot of both Jen Wren's fueling.

This cool photo of schooling mobula manta rays was taken taken by Matt Stoneback while diving on one of our tours to Cabo Pulmo Marine Park.

Neil Stall of New York City landed this nice 100# plus tuna about 25 miles East of Buena Vista. The fish fell for a tuna clone

On the delivery of the "Great White" a 47 Cabo Yachts we found wide open Calico Bass fishing at San Martin Island.

The yellowfin were WFO from Ensenada to Turtle Bay.

Turtle Bay to Mag Bay produced several Wahoo.

Accurate's small reels have changed the game.

Dorado were plentiful as well.

Entering the new Marina in San Jose del Cabo.

David and Doug with Ben. I was so pleased to finally have them come for a visit. The new Accurate gear we tested is incredable. Notice the mask and snorkel on David's head. These guys check it out from every angle and never stop.

This is Doug I think??

We had our last drink with our dear friend Del Marsh before scattering his ashes in one of his favorite places.

There are no Marinas on the East Cape so we are attempting to build a trailer for our new 35 Cabo. I think the factory thought I was a little off my rocker when I called asking for the bottom specs of the boat and told them we were going to pull a Cabo 35 out of the water over the sand.

Stay tuned!
Let's see if we can pull this big boat out over the beach in Buena Vista.
