The nation paid tribute to our men and women in the military this week. Here at AF, we salute the troops everyday and give thanks for every moment we have to do what we do. Continue to wave those flags high and proud and let our boys (and gals) know that the Mogan Militia gives their support.
The Mogan Man swings into Tampa this week to shoot a new episode of Addictive Fishing. Capt. Blair was stoked about making the trip because he's heard stories of 14 tarpon being jumped in a single trip. Incredible fish tails or incredible fish tales? Stay tuned for fishing reports from the bay.
While he's in town, the Mogan Man will bring the FINS "Wet a line" Tour to Southeastern Fishing Tackle Liquidators. Southeastern carries a good stock of FINS and Capt. Blair will be there to point out the differences in each of the situational braids. Patrice invites the Tampa clan to join the crew this Friday, June 3rd from 3 pm to 6 pm. "Come getcha a Flats Blue rod and get a FREE Mogan Man jersey!" Get geared up for the weekend!
The Mogan Tour stretches past the Florida borders! Capt. Blair leaves Tampa to make his way to Dick’s Sporting Goods in Daphne, Alabama. Come out to meet the Mogan Man and swap some fish tales at Dick's in Jubilee Square on Sunday, June 5th from 11 am – 4 pm. Capt. Blair will have some free stuff.
We’ve sprung a leak! Somebody (who shall remain nameless because he’s the producer and calls all the shots) leaked a great blooper that would make a terrific advertisement for Minn Kota. The Mogan Man was fishing from the poling platform when he hooked up a nice fish. Blair quickly reaches to press the button on the Talon remote hanging around his neck to stop the boat from drifting any further. When the Talon grabbed a hold of the bottom, the boat stopped and Blair found himself toppling onto the lower deck. Never skipping a beat or losing the fish, Capt Blair jumps up and praises the stopping power of the Minn Kota Talon. Now that’s proof in advertising! Watch the video for yourself and let us know what you think. Wouldn’t you like to have one of those for your boat? You might be this month's winner in the Minn Kota Giveaway! We will announce the lucky recipient in next week's Mogan Mail.
Aaron Barnett wrote to us this week to say he recently visited the AF Zone at Dick's Sporting Goods. Using the same products that Capt. Blair uses on the show, Aaron found himself showing off like a pro! That's a Mogan of the Week pose if I’ve ever seen one.
